Empowering SMEs for a Sustainable Future

In partnership with the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC), we’re excited to announce the successful launch of the SWIFT Program in Q1 2025. This impactful collaboration is designed to equip SMEs in the waste management, circular economy, and sustainability sectors with tailored technical support to address key operational and technical challenges.

The SWIFT Program offers technical support in 5 key technical areas:

  1. Process Improvements and SOPs (Streamlining internal systems and processes, development of standard operating procedures).
  2. Human Resource Management (Optimizing staffing, team development, and organizational culture).
  3. Investor Readiness and Fundraising (Packaging and fundraising networks/introductions).
  4. Product Development (Design Thinking, Iterative Development, Validation, Testing And Commercialization).
  5. Legal and Regulatory Compliance (Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, legal frameworks, and risk management).

We are proud to be working with 57 SMEs across 15 counties, supported by a dedicated team of 21 expert mentors. Throughout this quarter, mentors have worked closely with each cohort member to track progress, identify challenges, and unlock potential technical solutions positioned for long-term success.
